With white-themed interiors and wooden accents, it feels like a modern Korean café.
Kim Restaurant (Bếp Kim) in Da Nang, Vietnam. Despite its modern ambiance, it offers local Vietnamese cuisine, something I haven’t seen elsewhere during my 5-day stay in Vietnam.
Located about a 10-minute walk from Novotel Danang, Kim Restaurant welcomed us warmly even though there were no other customers around at 5 PM. Given the stylish interior, one might expect higher prices, but the prices are quite reasonable.
A can of beer is about 150 yen, pho is just under 400 yen, stir-fried water spinach is just under 300 yen, and stir-fried pork is just under 350 yen.
I had eaten too much for breakfast and lunch that day, so I couldn’t order much, but if I had been in the best condition of hunger, I would have ordered a variety of dishes as if it were a home party.
The interior is spacious, and it probably gets crowded during dinner time. The staff were preparing each table for dinner.
The surrounding area is full of local charm, but suddenly, there is the modern Kim Restaurant. It is likely a popular spot among trend-sensitive young locals. The atmosphere, food, and service were all highly satisfying.
The high quality of such drinks is likely one of the reasons why Kim Restaurant is so popular.
