Having a maintained water supply and restrooms significantly reduces stress during a BBQ.<br /> As a beginner BBQ enthusiast, I joined my food truck friends for a long-awaited grilling session at Ashigara Forest Park Maruta no Mori.<br /> Looking at it on Google Maps, it seems to be in the mountains, but you can access the park management building by car, and even get close to the BBQ area by car.<br /> <br /> After paying the admission fee at the main management building, you drive up to the BBQ area. You park your car near the BBQ area, and at the BBQ management building, which is about a minute's walk away, they guide you to your designated grilling spot.炊The cooking area and restrooms are close, and there's even Wi-Fi. They collect all kinds of trash, and best of all, if you buy the grilling net at the management building, they will collect the used net, which is a great help.<br /> <br /> This time, after preparing the yakitori at the cooking area, we moved on to yakiniku (grilled meat) and then paella. We thoroughly enjoyed the ingredients we had gathered from local butcher shops and supermarkets.<br /> The surrounding area is encompassed by trees, giving a proper sense of being outdoors. Our visit was at the end of November, and we had the place almost to ourselves. Since everything needed for a BBQ can be sourced on-site, this park is perfect for beginners or large groups.
